it's a rush because. 18-youth party, 19, relative party, 20-26 in Hong Kong. (^.^)v and then 27-28 packing to move to, 29 fly to Miri. wow!

so I, made a Loooongggg journey to Tawau with another 15 other people for the youth camp! the other 7 people from CCL went there by Van. 4D3N. We learnt the book of Hebrews which i finally get to understand what i have read.the word was Awesome, such as have Faith and trusting Him in everything that we Do and plenty more word of Blessings. Devotion and sessions were something that i always look forward to. ^.^

Games was good, but i still prefer Sandakans. Food- 5***** coz that's the only camp so far that serves food in Quality and Quantity- such as Pasta, Chicken Rice, Meat, Vege, Kon Lo Noodles and etc... and and not forgotten the Tuck shop has really expanded the business by selling a wide variety of F&B. Carbonated to Blended, Healthy to Junk, Maggi to Jelly. LOL

Being a leader :in handling a group+ the room 1 key holder+ keeping an eye in all youths from CCL
was truly a great experience. i mean, i really did enjoyed the experience. No burden.
Making friends there: em... not that many if compared to the previous youth camp but i'm really happy to get to know some new and meet up with some old friends.

and what's more shocking news? hah! in your face! The next youth camp would be in *drum rolls please*

So there i am Trusting God. and i'm really Blessed coz the offer letter from UKM has arrived! wheee!!! now i gotta prepare alot of stuff.

i had the opportunity to go watch Joseph and the Colourful Dreamcoat musical drama in Skyline which by faith i wanted to go [since a very long time ago]. i was Blessed by God through my relative as i got to seat at the Front Row and watch the whole thing in front of me. no people blocking and i would say it was Magnificent. the only thing lacking was that, the venue was a little too small. or else it could have been Grand!

Went with Chantelle to watch Rapunzel-3D- the storyline was lovely and sweet and awesome and applause to Disney again as it never failed me! and then my parents and her parents went to watch My Bother, Bruce Lee. they said that it was a great show. anyway, while they were watching, Chan and I walked to Wisma and had the ice-cream and walk walk walk and walk back to Suria!

met Anne [St. Michael Sandakan-met in youth camp in Tawau] in CCL! really happy to meet her and her family. and then after Church we had mini refreshment in conjunction to the end of chapter for Ps. Moses and Family. we'll be meeting with them again next year around June as they are doing their legal Visa now.
Shopping! in the afternoon after group lunch in Wong Kok. went to Asia to collect my winter coat and went to CP and bought essentials! XD hehe
At night, i went to watch the World Class Choir and the KL Opera Feast in UMS Hall. Free ticket! it was really something different as it was like the highest of all highest level of Choir when they perform. the sad thing was that the event was not that properly organised i would say. it could have been better with the time when they start.

started my day by forwarding Jen Jen the message. and then went to Town. Gaya Street, Wisma Merdeka- walking around KWSP and then Gaya Street. and then home watch the 6pm, TV2 show- interesting series. and then at night went to Upperstar! Lintas Branch. It was my first time there. anyway, i meet up with my Is friends! really miss them and i'm blessed to catch up with them! Soh, Yiu and Chua. too bad Teo wasnt there. time pass really fast i would say, went at 7.30pm and then chat, dinner, chat chat chat till 10.30pm. wow! still haven end le. XD hehe looking forward for the next meet up!-gift exchange.

Conclusion: Rachel had a Blast EVERYDAY!

i was like. wanna buy the airasia ticket to Miri on Friday coz it's Air Asia's Fabulous Fly Day which happens only once a week. OK. It was my fault. and i was 90% complete with everything. and then i typed a few times wrong on the *** name. i should have confirmed the name. and then the card got LOCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TOTALLY MESSED UP!

so here i am. stuck here. cannot proceed in buying. tried another card but EPIC PHAILED AGAIN!

what's the purpose?

sweaty palms and cold legs. well, it's what i'll end up when i have like a minimum of 2/3/4/5 hours straight of entertainment from a something called laptop. lol.

As for my holidays which i have just started, like completely free- as in all my institute friends has left, and have nothing of what-so-ever, no purpose to do anything/activities, i have been a couch potato to watch Vampire Diaries and nearly finished Season 1. X) 4 days= 17 episodes. not that bad i guess.

while in the afternoon, i'll go to my relative house and play Red Dot. it's an extremely good card game to play whilst to pass time you know? it triggers the brain to think while beat your own time in calculating the points.

man. to suddenly think of it on what's the purpose in an early morning at 1 something where the sky has a line in the middle and to not have the moon shinning like a torch light like other nights is very weird i would say. but i would categories myself as Blessed to have a time like this. where entertaining myself in this way is good after all, rather than sleeping all the time. and having Vampire Diaries as a main attraction for entertainment this holidays was intended since the second half of the year started. i guess, i'm a good advance planner.

and i just realize that i have a youth camp to attend next Monday. it's like so late man, the Speed of thinking. i mean, i didnt realize that it's the 25th of nov already.

December will be a fast month for me. i can see it fading quickly in front of my eyes though it has not happened yet. 1-2 December still in youth camp. then i'm back. then, i'll go to .... .... for my special Christmas holidays at the 20-26th of December. then 29th- poof! i'll be at Miri for a permanent time of ONE year. So, like now, the purpose of myself to entertain is to become extremely relax and set fresh for next year, my first year in Degree.

the thing i feel weird about is that, i can see my holidays and i guess, life as a student is BEST! it's like everything is provided by our parents and you have a great environment of friends. and then once you finish everything and start to work, then only you'll realize how hard is it to survive in this REAL world!

lol. as if i have already started working to get the real experience. or is my mind to immature to think far ahead? or my Speed of thinking is so slow that i just realized it? lol. how rhetorical!

but anyway, i'm just gonna appreciate all the time i have now, to entertain myself with stuff that i like. watch movies that i have piled up to watch. X)

Conclusion: the purpose was to have fun and relax. Cheers people!

Raya Haji

well, tho it has passed. but it was wonderful as i went to Mdm's house to celebrate it for the first time.

went around in the afternoon. together with my parents with Raihan and Mira in our little Myvi with Yazeed and Afiq escorting us. lol. but Afiq forgotten the way. we were lost. X)

but thank God for mobile phones. we manage to find the way at last. there we celebrated with my fellow classmates and all the language department lecturers were there. X)

Mdm's cooking was surely great. yummy! i kinda miss the cooking. i wanna eat some more!!!

Upper 6 2010 Mini Convo and Party!

Today!

i had the privileged to sneak in Undercover to my former school: SMK Lok Yuk Likas to visit my friends as they had their Mini Convo and Class Party.

This year, they had started the convo thing and it will be an annual event. this is cause form 6 in SMLY is still kinda "fresh" so, this year, they had made history!

Reached at around 8am. and asked around on where's the class. It was on the top of the IFF Block. it was beautifully decorated by the whole class. i saw a few of my classmates preparing while the nearly-entire class went to the hall. It's the last official day of school. :)

soon, people came in, and then food and drinks were set. so happy to meet all of my friends!!! after 1 and a half year of not meeting all of them, i was really proud of them somehow. they survived to stay at form 6. Convo started when the class teacher arrived. So, speeches from the heads were said, and the certs were all given out.

After that, it was time for food while giving the prezzies out to the teachers. :) touching moment. then all the teachers left and then each of us gave a speech. i said Thanks for inviting and Good Luck in your Exam! Gambateh!!!!

The individual speech time was really a time where people spoke their hearts out. Most cried. i understand this feeling. words could not just come out even tho you wanna say it. on the irony, what i find it most amusing is that the yiruma song was played throughout the individual speech time which added the sentimental touch of the whole atmosphere.

Anyway. we had fun and i would say that it was a blast for a time and place like that. i really missed the school. i did not get to meet the teachers tho...

wow. It's All Over.

Confession: Up till now in fact, i still could not believe that i finished my Foundations. and the fact that MUET is over. phew... and yesterday: 13th Nov, was the last day i saw all my classmates together- in a mini luncheon.

Foundations:

It has been one and a half years of learning, experiencing every moment of all types of emotions with all my friends. 14 other friends. i really did have great fun and tag all moments as Awesome. Camp, Outings, Drama, Movies, Birthdays, Gerko, Assemblies, Choir, Study Group, Power Point Night, Recess did put up bits and pieces together to make us close. A perfect picture. and that made up Foundation. >.<>

MUET:

Nov 13th. ME 028/6600 went to the hall and did three papers: the Reading, Writing and Listening. All of us were required to take this exam as it is the passport to enter U.

Reading was tough to choose. the candidate had a hard time to distinguish the right answer as it was fabulously tricky. =.=''' 45 questions= 90 minutes.

Writing. I would say that i never had practice on this. Section A was report writing= 40 marks= suppose to do it in 40 minutes. but i took 55 minutes to settle this. ugh! =.=''' then section B was to write about arrange marriage, do you think it's still applicable to today's society. i answered yes. LOL. i could not think of any negative answers.

Listening. haih... it's the one that i did most practice and turned out that it's the *paling menyusahkan hati* paper for me. Agree with Afiq: Faulty Disc. and the recording was long. 0 my... and it was indirect. very indirect as compared to all the practices.

Lunch at The Choice. it was a memorable lunch and it would be the last time that i get to meet all my friends together. in a sense. all 14 of them and Mdm too. We had Briyani, fish head curry, vege, curry sauce, chicken, apadom and syrup drink. oo and cheese cake too. (^.^) yummy! we had a private room to ourselfs and first time in history: Rachel Ate With Her Hand. ^.^ Pro already! Later, we made our wishes on the cake. Jen & I blew the candle while Langgo cut the cake. The three of us received Batik cloth from our class. In addition to that, we must Custom make our Batik, wear it every Thursday, take a pic and tag all my friends. The Batik's purpose was to wear it as a remembrance of them. Love Love Love you people!!!!

Then. Mira, Rai and I went to the all time eyed Lintas place to see the new Cupcake place. Lovely but pricey. We didnt buy coz we were so full.

Night: went to youth party in Caroline's house. It was Awesome as we celebrated Birthday(May- Dec) cum Year End Party. Played games and had choc cake. Food was westernize as we were served with Pasta, Garlic Bread, Bread Stick, Sausage, Chicken Wing, Cheese Cake, Layered Jelly and Orange Juice. Had a towel as a prezzie!

Sunday. Church. Outing with Grandma. Home. Made Jelly. Fried Noodle. TV. FB. blogging now.

lol. i still could not believe that everything has passed. i feel too free.

But i got a schedule planned ahead already.

Nov:

16th: Lok Yuk party. 8am-12pm need to undercover and sneak in the school compound.

17th: Go to Mdm's House for Haji with Friends!

29th-2Dec: Youth Camp in Tawau.

20-26Dec: Holiday in .... ....

30Dec: need to Register in Miri. and will be there permanently for 1 year.

The End of the Sem

Around 5.30pm, on the 10th of November 2010 is the day that i have Officially finish my finals. My PPISMP BI(SM) Foundations. Social Studies was the last paper. Wrote around 13 and a half pages long in 3 hours. Right Hand Status: Tired.

Overall Comment: I'm pretty ok with the paper. tho not 100% satiated with myself but i guess that's the best i can do. Happy. (^.^)v

MUET classes will be held today. MUET Exam will be on this Saturday. Woots! Exam Week! then HOLIDAY!!!!

Breakfast~Myvi~Exam~Heavy Rain

Breakfast: i normally don't have heavy breakfast=(food from shops, eg Kon Lo Mee) but today was different, coz it's exam day. So... gotta eat= to avoid myself from being hungry and suddenly think of food in the midst of exam. Prevention is better than cure.

Myvi: and then... went to Visit my Myvi! my poor Myvi which was sandwich between two cars had been sent to the hospital to be healed. it's back today already. wheee!!! byebye Rented Proton Saga.. tho i do miss your space.

Exam: was in one of the Hot Islands. but anyway. the paper was tougher than the mock i would say. but since i studied about it, i don't believe that i will fail. though actually i did not really have time to look and do the Unseen Poem wholeheartedly. :(

Heavy Rain:as it was a hot afternoon, in Mira's room, we did pray for good weather in a sense, cool weather to ease us from heat. we prayed for rain since last week already. XD and so it did start to rain around 2. wheeee~~when it was 5.30pm, which was when i just finish the ES paper, it rained so heavy until the shoes are wet instantly as soon as you touch the ground coz the water level was like 5cm high. you will be drenched to the skin in no time. wet~ so this is the power of praying. XD heavy rain which i assume God sent it due to Mira's and my prayers. XD God answers it. Amen! And He sent it Abundantly.

Sad: don't know how to study SS without Mira's Powerful thinking brain. haih....

Sunday: hehe i got myself a new glasses. the previous new one got glue problem so changed instantly into a new one! ^.^ lalallalalalalalla i kinda like it! *loves*

Monday: exam mood ON! start to study actually more to revise what i have studied. ^.^ Macbeth and 2 Poems. XD and then went to Mira room today too. hehe at night to study the 2 Poems together. had fun! and then it turns out that i'm the 3-in-1 Nescafe of Mira. XD hehehehe *loves* actually you're my 3-in-1 too...(^.^) it's just that you dont realise. or maybe you realised it already. XD

Today is a Rainy Saturday.

it has been raining for quite sometime now. i mean the weather these days.

I started my day pretty late.

Morning: Sleepy

Afternoon: hmm... :D went with Mira and Kas to centre. tho both of them are pretty sick, but they were both strong and determine to achieve their target, which was to pay broadband and buy some stuff. yay!

lunch was KFC. finger linkin good!

then we walk and walk and walk and ate Chocotop and walk.......

night: did not go to youth. but went to Relative house and played Raymans: Raving Rabbids on Wii! it's one of the best game for me!! hehehe. super fun!

Firstly, i wanna wish Happy Deepavali to all Indian Friends and those who celebrate this festival! wheeeee!!!!!!! celebration!

Today, i could not really study. It's a Friday ba. so additional info cannot go in my head. >.<

went to Mira's room (with tonnes of food). so one whole afternoon experimenting ourself to study. conclusion: failed. sigh

then night came. i think it's because Mira and I could not stand the peanut butter tension of not studying, we ended up going to Mr. Bala house with Rai. It was a last minute decision. >.<

In Mr. Bala's house, the group 2 ans some BI(SM) manage to make it. we ate rice, curry, curry, curry, chicken wing, poori and drank Sarsi. did not manage to eat pampadam. X) *we felt that we had dominated the kitchen. sorry everyone.* we had purple package also from Mr. Bala. XD it was a blast! and AWESOME night!

There is a saying, it doesn't matter how it begins, but how it ends matter. so today i must say, though i did not have a nice beginning, which was not able to study one whole morning and afternoon, but i had fun with no regrets at night. It's a day to celebrate after all!

it was pretty interesting. it seems that both essays written are over the word limit. "oppsydaisy"

Felt sorry for B2. He made a wonderful effort to unite the class. He had the idea by following logic that we go to all 3 Pulau tomorrow. But sadly, no one really responded and listen to him and others said that it was dangerous as it was the monsoon season. and ....

in the afternoon: went with Mira and Raihan to Suria and Wisma Free!

then M,R and I went to Food Court to eat. okok-lah. not that satisfied. but just eat only.

My Comment: It's weird to see that my Favorite subject among all is the least while the subject that i never really enjoyed got the most. What an Irony! But i do love SS now. ^.^ it turns out that with the help of M, it has made it Interesting and Logical too. X)

Finals starts today. 8.30am. and had LDS for a start!

then went to Mira's room and sleep from 1-4pm.

We had a mini Mock Exam (19th-22nd October 2010) on the same week we had MUET speaking Test which was held on the 18th October 2010.

i wouldn't say that the results is good...

not satiated too...

but thank God it's just a mock test.

wow. first post on my sophomore experience is assignment.

lol. well, we had forum today on the PPSMI issue.

and guess what?

i enjoyed the forum. first time ever that i felt i was confident after doing research and stuff.

There were 4 panels.

NGO=Amira

Education Minstry=Me

Academician=Fred

and all of us talked confidently and had a wonderful time together.

and this forum had brought me to see a different perspective.

well, switching to BM for science and maths is not that bad after all cause of the majority of Malaysian who do not really understand the language and will be worst again when they do not understand the subject because of the language. secondly, there there are only 19.2% secondary school teachers and 9.96% primary school teacher who are proficient enough to teach Science and Maths in English. so, if the majority teacher have no confident in teaching, how about the students?

But we cannot deny that English is the Lingua Franca of the world. and Science and Maths references are more in English. And we will not have so much problem in understanding Science and Maths in Tertiary Level.

And i do believe that one day, Science and Maths will be reverted back to English.

But before that, we need to build up a good foundation in all the students standard of English.This will be done through MBMMBI.

Thus, the whole nation will then be equipped in English. And Malaysia will be a nation which is progressive and well respected by other countries.

Till the day comes then. :D
